MEGA-ACE (Multi-disciplinary Educational Global Alliance for Algorand Centre of Excellence) is a collaborative research and training network comprising 17 top universities from all around the globe, coordinated and led by Purdue blockchain lab. Funded by Algorand Foundation's selective Algorand Centers of Excellence (ACE) program, MEGA-ACE aims to transform the blockchain landscape while serving the prime goal of blockchain technology which is decentralization and fairness. The mission of MEGA-ACE is to become a powerhouse for blockchain research, a forum for exchanging ideas in the area, and a center for training students in countries that currently do not provide enough such training. The NTUA MEGA-ACE team aims to play an active role in pursuing both the research and education agenda of the program and to contribute in bringing the MEGA-ACE global vision into reality.
